EHDC is in the process of developing a Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan.  This is to define and prioritise the walking and cycling infrastructure needs of the area and to help fulfill the government’s ambition to make these methods of active travel “the natural choices for shorter journeys or as part of longer journeys”.

As part of this process we are launching an active travel survey, the results of which will help to inform the priorities for the final LCWIP.

The survey will be available on line via www.easthants.gov.uk/ontherightpath from today, Monday 10 February 2020 for a period of six weeks, until Sunday 22 March 2020.  Copies of the draft technical document and summary (also attached) will be available to view online, and we will also make printed copies available at local offices and libraries.
