Liphook Village Market

For the last few Markets, we have been joined by
Sharon of SSKK with her beeswax food wraps. After trying to purchase some, in
an effort to reduce her plastic usage, Sharon decided to make her own to save
money.

The Beeswax wraps which Sharon makes last
approximately 6 months. They can be refreshed (re-melts the wax). When they are
finished, they can be composted or used as a firelighter. Just think about it –
if you use a sandwich wrap say 3 times a week for 6 months, that’s an
incredible 78 pieces of single use clingwrap or foil NOT going into landfill xx

SSKK sell on Etsy and eBay, and also have Facebook
and Instagram pages. They sell at Liphook Village Market and other events where
the wraps have been very well received. They have been interviewed on their
local radio station, Radio Wey, and had a mention in the Delicious magazine.
Beeswax wraps are becoming more known now as word of these great ‘eco-swaps’ spreads.
