Throwing Pottery

I discovered pottery later in life by signing up for evening classes but from my first session I was hooked and never stopped!

A major factor in my house move in 2020 was finding a property with the potential space to set up my own pottery studio. I found that in ‘Combe Cottage’ and ‘Combe Cottage Pottery’ was born.

I always made time to attend evening classes but teaching full-time in school simply did not leave enough hours in the day to be the potter I knew I wanted to become. In 2021 I made the decision to take early retirement and give myself the time and space to become a full time potter. I’m looking forward to drawing on my teaching skills to share the pottery experience with others.
